This week was a little slow on progress, but we've had some good results.

The week started off at the tail end of our trailer PR push. We managed to land on a few gaming websites which was a good start. I also did an interview with IGHQ. I forgot how much work it is doing those things. It's been a while. I've added data for about 30 more AI companies. Companies in the game are modeled around real companies even though we have to change their names and logos due to trademark laws. I've tried my best to get these little guys acting like the real company would. Of course you have to fudge some data. A lot of them have very little information available.

In the middle of the week I did a stress test, which is where you simulate playing the game for long hours but in a short amount of time. Ended up fixing a buffer overflow bug that would crash the game. There is still some tweaking that needs to be done. As of right now there is a performance decrease if you're playing longer than 50 game years in one sitting (about 10-20 hours of game play).

We've also started updating our stock system which has been in need of some loving. Starting off with a slight UI redesign and a tweak of the markets to make them a bit more realistic. AI companies can now buy each other out and retain the marquees. This should help the AI expand quicker and provide a money sink.
