The regular game launches fine but trying to launch 2nd gear is a no go.

Finally, if all else fails, clean reinstall, following these directions exactly: https://wiki.gearcity.info/doku.php?id=t...nreinstall (deleting leftover files is extremely important, as Steam will not remove GPU cache files and what have you.)
