Wages are significantly higher in the United States. Here is a very recent survey for the Video Game Industry: https://www.gamesindustry.biz/gdc-survey...00-in-2025
Then you need to add business overhead, insurance, taxes, etc. So for me to hit those salary numbers, I need to make 50% more + any other business costs.
Quote:Quote:Yes - I didn't fine a solution for setting the production for all factories. https://www.ventdev.com/forums/showthrea...5#pid11515 id describes the origin issue which I tried to solve with the Botton for selection all factories. Maybe it makes sense toQuote:It's nearly impossible to set the maximum production for this amount of factories and cars.
Did you try the districting system in the Mega Menu?
Well, World Districting works fine for me in the Mega Menu.
-Open the Mega Menu (Computer in the Office)
-Select "World" from the Premade districts in the drop down menu in the top left.
And that's it. You're now managing the factory as a single entity.
If you need any other districts, they're also up there in the top-left drop down menus.
If you run into any bugs with that, they're likely fixed in the next update already since I have spent the last 3 months working exclusively on this game.
And before you ask, why can't I do this on the World Map, the building, retooling, and a few other things will need a complete rewrite and retest of functionality. I do not think bulk factory building is ~required~ in the game. I do agree district management of more than one factory is helpful, which is why I took several days to make sure it worked in the mega menu back when the new factory system was implemented.
Quote:I'm not saying it's a bunch auf money for your work. I'm saying it's a lot of money for a basic function which should be available and need a founding where 1k is a lot of money.
The functionality you're asking for is in the game. It's under the Mega Menu (computer in the office), top left drop down box in that Window.
Distrcit Building, Retooling, Closing of factories is something that I do not consider important basic functionality of the system. The functionality you ask for is implemented in the Mega Menu. The other 80% of the functionality of Factory Districting is not implemented. Those functions are only done in the World Map. So the Factory Districting system was removed from the World Map since the only thing you could do there, you already do in the Mega Menu.

Your worked for $10.25 - than you understand. By the way - as I studied a lot of us have to live from 450€/month. Rent of a flat ist starting around 500€ without heating and electrical energy.
Cost of living is higher in the US. Also that was my wages 15 years ago doing an easier job. I get paid less than that with most bounties. This bounty isn't even standard rates or barely kept up with inflation with that wage from 2010.
Look, I've estimated adding Bulk Factory Building, Retooling, Closing, testing, and bug fixes at about 40 hours. $1000/40 is $25/hr. That level of pay is 25% above federal poverty level in the United States. The job I am doing would put me in the top 10% of income earners if I just quit and applied anywhere, 150-400% above federal poverty level. Be happy I am willing to do it at all, because the market rate for that bounty is $1500 to $3000.
Quote:Btw - one second Problem:
If you create a sub-company with a factory and 100M around 1950 - the sub-company didn't build a shop and run out of money. If I gave the sub-company 250M - they build one shop and run out of money...
This has always been the case in GearCity. You need to spin them off as healthy companies. Include some factories and branches and a healthy lineup of vehicles. If you don't, 9 times out of 10 they will bankrupt.
Anyway, the short of it is, If you want the factory district production management, Mega Menu (computer in the office), upper left hand corner, allows you to select districts.
Anything else, I would suggest starting a new game and enabling the old production system in the new game settings.
