Feature Feature #3: Graphing
Let's face it, there is an infinite amount of data in the universe. Anything and everything can be represented with numbers. Most of the time this data is pointless (remember those math classes you took when you were a kid?) But sometime data is critical to understanding what is going on.
When running a company you NEED this data to make informed decisions. Without it you will quickly go out of business.
As a CEO you don't want to be weighed down by mountains of raw numbers. Let the accountants tackle those peaks. You want straight and to the point data. This is where our graphing system comes into play.
This is our new office artwork. We're going to have an entire Feature Feature about it in a few weeks.
After selecting the log book, you will be given the Reports Log. Select Charts and you have the chart selection. GUI still needs some work so please forgive the mess.
This is the comparison graph. It is used to compare total model sales over the last two months.
"Marketshare In City" will give you a marketshare bar graph of sales in the selected city.
"Model Sales By City" Shows the total sales of a selected model by city. Notice how I'm selling 68 models in London but only 12 models in Berlin? That's because London has a higher percapita. That means I can charge more in London! So London is my top priority in the shipping chain. (See Feature Feature #2 for more details)
The 12 Month Profit Chart is pretty important. It shows you in a quick nutshell your expenses your revenue and your gross all in one. We want the shaded area to be green!
The 12 Month Sales By Model chart gives you the total world wide sales of your models over the last 12 months.
Yearly Model Sales is the same as 12 Month Model Sales, however it is yearly rather than monthly.
Yearly Profits Graph is similar to 12 Month Profits Chart. Keep it in the green, or risk your livelihood!
Car Sales in City shows you all the vehicles for sell in that City. Looks like we're doing great here!
You've seen this chart before in our trailer. It's the All time Markshare Chart. It shows worldwide market share for the top 11 companies, your own company, and all the rest.
I'm graphed out :|
Feature Car #3: DCM
The DCM is a Phaeton available between 1900 to 1912. Phaetons were originally open horse drawn carriages. Many early cars were modified horse carriages fitted with an engine.
Where are the newer cars? Well the bodies are made, but they're missing tires, lights, etc. When we get those, we'll be doing newer car features as well.
