Hello,
I know there is rework of AI attributes planned but still have 1 specific and 1 general question:
- ClusterSpace - believe should be between 0 and 1? Which value is more closer and which is more widespread? I do not see real impact of changing this value - AI still chooses cities for factories and branches strongly according to other attributes (probably capita, pop, empwage, manub, ...).
- is there any possibility to set slower expansion of AIs - besides setting build and expansion aggression to almost 0. Would 0 value mean no expansion at all?
Thank you
Pišta
In theory, Clustering of 1 should be further out, clustering of 0 should be closer. But neither of these will do much in the game as the AI has been optimized over the years to not go out of business and for performance. Expansion and building up factories was the leading cause of bankruptcy for the AI. Which is why you're not seeing any changes.

The same is true for most other values factory/branch adjustments like build aggression.

My advice is to set these roughly where you think they should be, and if the AI functionality for these gets readded or we get external scripting, you already have the variables set.

The system as it is now works roughly like this, when the AI company run low on production lines (or production capacity) it will build a factory within a percentage of its cash on hands. If it does not have enough money, it will take out a bond. Branches are built when there is excess production capacity. They also cost a percentage of cash on hand, but no bonds are taken out. Where the AI chooses depends on population, percapita, and distance from nearest factory. It tries to stay in the same country until no cities meet the per capita and population requirements.
