Hey all,
I have a delay/lag when using directx 9. Tried reinstalling nothing changed. So im using opengl 3.3 but would like to be able to play borderless fullscreen.
Second thing is at the chassis selection when i try to load saved sliders game crashes to desktop. It happens both with new and old saved sliders.
Thanks
Edit: no problem at engine and gearbox design.

Nothing has changed directly with the DX9 renderer in this update. Did it work fine in v2.5.0.0?
Shader Generation system did change. You likely didn't clean out the caches.

Assuming you're using Steam, did you delete left over files after you uninstalled? Steam does not touch user generated files, which means you had all old GPU Cache data remaining on your system. Follow the instructions here for proper uninstall/reinstall of the game:
https://wiki.gearcity.info/doku.php?id=t...nreinstall
I recommend doing this, as this might be what is causing the problem, especially if it was working fine in v2.5.0.0.

Considering DirectX9 is 20 years old now, emulated in modern Windows, and not even supported by some GPU chip manufacturers, it is highly recommended to use the OpenGL3 renderer even if it means losing borderless fullscreen.
You might be able to find a third party program to strip Window's window decorations from the game. I know on Linux/BSD most desktop environments have this functionality out of the box.

I'll add it to the bug list and address it with the next bug-fix update. That will probably be in a week or two depending on how many bug reports we get. Or even sooner if we get anything critical.
