Apple version
#1
Hello.

I would very much like to try this game. I've spent many hours with Motor City and this looks like the perfect successor to that game.

The problem is that I am using Apple. On the webpage there is an apple at the bottom and it says there will be a mac version but on Steam the only options are Windows or Steam OS.

Is a mac version in development? When is this version expected? If it's far away I may consider installing dual systems on my computer but I rather not go through the hazel of doing that.

Looking forward to try the game!

Best regards

I don't think there is a date as of yet, but the development of the Macintosh port is well under way. As far as I understand, it is mostly done, but there are some kinks and dents that need to be straightened out and fixed before it is good enough to serve to paying costumers Smile

Good to hear. Still tempting to try to add dual operating systems for this purpose.

Tridon is correct. Mac port is just about finished. There are two or three major issues however that crash on Macs (but not on Windows or Linux.) So I have to fix those before I can let other people play it.

We'll probably have a demo build of it before I sell it on Steam, so that I can fix any other problems with the port.

My hope is to get the Demo out in September with Steam release out a few weeks there after.

Great news. However I could not start the game. I'm using osx 10.7.5. Maybe there is a proper place to post full information of the error message?

You could just post it here.

Was it an error message or did the program launch but then crash?

Ok, sounds like the same issue as 10.6 has, in that apple's @rpath's don't work properly in older versions of OS X. This issue should hopefully be fixed in the next update.
